# Transfyr: Physical AI for Science

> Transfyr builds physical AI for science. Its platform captures and understands how scientific work is actually performed in the physical world. Transfyr deploys a multimodal sensor stack into wet lab environments, turning experimental execution into structured, observable data that makes science easier to reproduce, transfer, improve, and automate.

Transfyr is building the intelligence layer for scientific execution. Transfyr’s platform uses multimodal sensing and AI to observe laboratory work as it happens, including video, audio, instrument data, environmental conditions, protocol context, and experimental metadata.
Transfyr models scientific execution at the level of individual actions, samples, operators, and experiments. This makes previously invisible aspects of laboratory work—such as technique, timing, deviations, environmental conditions, and tacit knowledge—measurable and searchable.
